Shan-Nel D. Simmons, EA MBA, is a seasoned professional with an impressive background in accounting and finance. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Shan-Nel has built a successful career as a tax expert and financial consultant. Her expertise and knowledge have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars for clients across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
Before delving into the world of entrepreneurship, Shan-Nel worked as a corporate accountant, gaining invaluable insight into the financial workings of large organizations. She then transitioned into a role as an IRS revenue agent, where she conducted tax audits, honing her skills in navigating complex tax laws and regulations. This experience gave her a unique perspective on the challenges faced by taxpayers and inspired her to establish her own venture, Nel Tax and Financial Solutions, where she currently serves as the Founder and CEO. As a federally licensed enrolled agent, Shan-Nel is recognized for her expertise in taxation and represents clients before the IRS.
